Adverbs describe verbs and they tell us more about how the verb was performed (done). They also make your writing more interesting.This picture show you a lot of verbs. As you can see, I will explain all the verbs, running, hanging, tired, sweating and working out. They could be helped out with adverbs like: funnily, heavily, exhaustingly, etc.

Unaloto, that picture is an excellent choice to help us understand how adverbs can help make our writing more interesting. A sentence that you could make using your choice of verbs and adverbs could go like this: "The runners feet slapped the pavement heavily as he approached the finish line".
